Thomas N. Marcum
Thomas Marcum grew up in central Oklahoma in the town of Washington. He attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University and the University of Central Oklahoma before earning a Juris Doctorate at the University of Oklahoma College of Law. Tom and his family – wife DeAnn and children Emily and Stephen – returned to Durant in early 2005 where Tom served as an Assistant District Attorney and later joined the Burrage Law Firm in August of the same year. Tom is active on various boards and commissions in the community including the United Way Board of Directors and the Durant Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Tom currently represents the City of Durant, Ward 2, on the Durant City Council where he holds the office of Vice Mayor.
