2 bicyclists injured in hit-and-run accident

A hit-and-run accident has left two injured. The specific details of the incident are still unclear as the investigation continues. Families of the victims are hoping that someone will come forward with identifying information on the driver of the car. 

Details of the accident 

Early in the morning, a 10-year-old child and 39-year old man were biking alongside the eastbound lane of 15th Street in Oklahoma City. They were both struck by an unidentified vehicle. The driver fled the scene in the car and has yet to be found. The accident is still under investigation. 

The young victim suffered minor injuries and was taken to a nearby children’s hospital for treatment. According to Oklahoma City police, the adult male accident victim suffered far more serious injuries and is currently being treated. His family hopes that he will pull through. They are pleading with the public for someone to provide information to help identify the driver. Based on evidence at the scene, police believe the car to be a newer model black Nissan Altima with damage on the front passenger side.
